In the hole really big. . . What do I do

Alright everyone, I understand that what I have gotten myself into is my fault and it should have never happened. . .But I have had a horrible week and I am down really big. .. .More than I am currently worth and its pay time on thursday. . . Bad beats such as UAB under and Miami Heat and then obviously sunday's games have really killed me and I dont know what to do.

I owe 2,000 and I dont have that. . . The man's max bet is 20,000 dollars ok . ..

Here are my options. . Does anybody think they can win one game in the next four for me?

I was thinking the double or nothing approach. . . I know this is a horrible idea. . .. But what do I do?? Someone give me some advice for I am on full tilt and need help. . This would be the approach of just hoping to win one game in the next four. . .Thats a 25% winning percentage

2,200 - 2000 Monday - Loss
To win 4,200 -Tuesday - Loss
to win 8,400 or so Wednesday - Loss
Then double that on thursday- I would need a win ?

I just want to get even and get out. After I looked at what I wrote I realize it is a horrible idea. . But I have never been down this much and in this situation and I have to admit I am a little worried

My Suggestion is to get on a payment plan and give it a break for a while. I know posters here will give you their picks and they might win BUT a payment plan for 2 dimes is much better than a payment plan for 20 dimes!

Never Chase.. you might get away with it once and a while but take it from me.. It hurts MORE when you lose. I was down 3k one time last year and I chased one game on monday during the collge week and ended up losing 3300 and 6k total. The fact I had to ask my parents to borrow money WAS not cool... if yo ulike it put like 5% and just Pay the rest..

In my honest opinion.. Id find a way to get 2k and pay the man...

Do not under any circumstance try to win your way out. Go see the man and explain the problem. Pay what you have and make arrangements. He may not be happy...but he still wants his money. Do not wager anywhere else until you've paid the man off. Next gather a bankroll and wager within that bankroll.

Exactly how I feel . . . I dont want to pay 2000 hard earned dollars. . Which I dont have, but I also am not going to bet an under on two of the best offenses and then two of the worst defenses. . . That is not smart at all. However I feel that I will not lose four in a row. . But it is not worth the chance. If I do I am a dead man and my life would be shattered. I need to have four profitable nights and maybe I will not have to pay the full 2 G's. I know 2 G's might not be a lot to you guys but it is a lot of money to me.

Don't listen to the post above. If you had won you would expect to get paid. Never bet with money you don't have, that is scared money and scared money rarely wins. Call the man before tonights game and make a plan to pay him off. If he tells you you can wager, don't. Get yourself healthy again and then get a bankroll you can afford and play within that bankroll. If you have $1,000 bankroll than play a percentage per play, don't bet $500 on 1 play. Use 5% as your max bet and go from there until you build up your bankroll. Once you start building, than you can play more. If your bankroll grows to $2,000 than make $100 your max play. Good luck I've been there, but the best thing you can do is face the problem head on.

Mr. Negative has a point, however, it seems like it will just prolong what might be a long and slow death of your gambling habit.

stop playing til you can build up a bankroll, then just play with that. If you lose it you're done. know your limits.

Something that most here would disagree with, but if you are going to play, which most people would say not to, play it back SLOWLY. You said it yourself, if I lose the next 4 days, my life will be over. Don't let this **** get in the way man.

Be smart, assuming you win the next 2 days at $500 a clip, you are much better off owing $1,000 than you would be owing $8,000 plus vig if you bet big and lose. Always remember and know the consequences of what happens if you lose.

GL to you and BE SMART. Most have chased, and as someone in here mentioned, "chasing money" is usually lost dollars.

Sound like you followed Mr. Baseball's money management system. Now that your bankroll is evaporated, and you owe even more, you should start thinking about hanging it up. Make a payment plan, and keep your hard earned money for your family. Giving it to the bookie is not the answer. Chasing is not the answer.
